Welcome to BBC Xtra English.
Today Doug and Rasha are talking about children and TV.
Should two year olds be watching telly?
No, according to an expert speaking at the British House of Commons. Dr Aric Sigman says children under three should not watch any TV at all.
He argues watching excessive TV is linked to behavioural problems, sleeping problems, and obesity.
Dr Sigman's recommended maximums:
Ages 0-3: No TV
Ages 3-7: 30 mins to 1 hour per day
Ages 7-12: 1 hour per day
Ages 12-15: 1.5 hours per day
Ages 16+: 2 hours per day
But Greg Childs, from the Save Kids' TV Campaign says that the ban is "unrealistic".
He says many programmes have educational value.
Others say you cannot blame TV for society's problems.
What do you think? Do children watch too much TV?
